During a visit to the hospital, we met Dylan, a brave fighter battling acute myeloid leukemia (AML). She shared her heartfelt desire for a new room, and we knew we had to make her dream come true. Little did we know the incredible journey that lay ahead. Teaming up with the our favorite Love Team Tessa, we embarked on a mission to create an extraordinary bedroom for Dylan. The transformation was nothing short of awe-inspiring. From closing in a window and installing a new one, to selecting beautiful furniture, painting the walls, adding elegant molding, and even redoing the flooring – every detail was carefully curated to give Dylan a serene space to relax and recover after her grueling treatments. To add more magic to the mix, we had the privilege of welcoming Darren from HGTV’s Extreme Home Makeover, who brought his expertise and creative flair to the project. Our talented photographer, Zach, captured every emotion as Dylan’s dream room unfolded before her eyes.
The weekend was filled with love, dedication, and hard work, and we could see the joy in Dylan’s eyes when she saw her new room. It was an experience we’ll cherish forever. We know that Dylan will cherish it even more, as she now has a room where she can grow up and create beautiful memories.
