Friday Night Lights for Elijah

Under the bright lights of Abington Heights stadium, it was more than just football and cheer this season. It was:

In support of Whip Pediatric Cancer, Abington Heights football and cheer proudly wore fundraiser t-shirts dedicated to Elijah’s fight and his legacy. Every shirt in the stands and on the field was more than fabric; it was:

• A declaration that this community stands together against pediatric cancer.

And at the center of it all was someone very special.

Karina Sabo, Elijah’s sister, organized the entire fundraiser. With strength and love that only a sister could carry, she turned grief into action. She channeled her heart into something powerful, bringing together:
