The Heart of our Organization

Everyone on our team shares a single, unwavering belief: doing everything we can to make life better for children battling cancer.

Jordan Belous (JJ)

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Daughter of MSK Survivor

Jordan founded Whip Pediatric Cancer at just sixteen years old with a mission to raise awareness, fund research, and bring hope to children battling cancer. As CEO, she leads patient visits, works closely with researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and manages the organization’s social media outreach. Her compassion and determination continue to drive Whip Pediatric Cancer forward, ensuring that every child feels seen, supported, and loved.

Victoria Belous

Chief Operating Officer

MSK Pediatric Cancer Survivor

After surviving her own fight with Ewing sarcoma, Victoria has been an integral part of Whip Pediatric Cancer since the very beginning. As COO, she oversees the day-to-day operations that keep our mission moving forward. From giving family support and hope, to sending care packages, and heart of gold kits. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, her heart and dedication are felt in every detail. Our kids love her so much! Her journey as a survivor fuels her passion to ensure no child or family walks this fight alone.

Joe Saggio

Chief Financial Officer

MSK Surivor

Joe brings financial leadership and stability to Whip Pediatric Cancer, ensuring that every dollar raised is carefully managed and maximized to support research and families. As CFO, he oversees budgeting, fundraising accountability, and financial planning, helping the organization grow sustainably while staying true to its mission. His guidance allows Whip Pediatric Cancer to turn generosity into real impact for children and families in the fight of their lives.

Paul Britt

Husband of MSK Angel

Paul is an essential part of the Whip Pediatric Cancer team, bringing both heart and dedication to everything we do. After the devastating loss of his wife Briana to a rare pediatric brain cancer, Paul turned his pain into purpose, making it his mission to support as many children and families as possible facing similar battles.

He plays a vital role across the organization, contributing to everything from leading corporate fundraising efforts and hockey events  to personally helping fulfill Bri’s Birthday Boxes. Paul’s commitment, compassion, and tireless work ethic have made a lasting impact on our mission and the families we serve. We are incredibly grateful to have him as part of our team.

Kelly Bolinger

Pediatric ICU Nurse & Mother of MSK Survivor

Kelly Bolinger began her career as a pediatric oncology nurse, and now currently a NICU nurse. Her passion became deeply personal when her own daughter, Rowyn, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at three years old. Determined to give her daughter the best chance at survival, Kelly immersed herself in research and moved her family across the country to Memorial Sloan Kettering, where Rowyn underwent major tumor resection surgery and is now cancer-free.

Dr. Jess Black Puzzuoli

Neuroendocrine Tumor Specialist at MSKCC Sister of MSK Angel

After losing her sister to neuroblastoma in 1991, Jess dedicated her life to curing pediatric cancer. She is now a physician and researcher at Memorial Sloan Kettering, working six days a week to push the boundaries of treatment and save children’s lives. Beyond her work at the hospital, she runs the New York City Marathon to raise funds for pediatric cancer research and personally supports families through their fight. Her relentless dedication and compassion make her an invaluable leader within Whip Pediatric Cancer.

Tessa Prothero

Honorary Vice President & MSK Angel

Just weeks after starting Whip Pediatric Cancer, I met 7-year-old Tessa Prothero — a vibrant little girl in a headscarf and heels who quickly became my soulmate and best friend. She was so much more than a child with cancer; she changed everything for me.

When Tessa passed away at just 9 years old, my world shattered, but her spirit became the fire that fuels this mission.

Piper

Director of Smiles

Piper is a 2-year-old Cavapoo and the sweetest service pup you could ever meet! She brings joy and comfort to children fighting cancer, visiting hospitals to share endless cuddles, licks, and love. Piper has a special gift for brightening the toughest days, it’s no wonder she’s everyone’s favorite puppy.
