One of a Kind.
Just Like Her.
Introducing the Uni-Port Doll Dress, made for 18-inch dolls. A little celebration of everything that makes her rare, so the doll she loves can look, zip, and twirl exactly like her.
Because sometimes the most powerful thing a doll can do is help a little girl see herself.

She Deserves to See Herself
Dolls are such a big part of childhood. They’re who little girls dress, care for, talk to, sleep beside and take everywhere. They become best friends, patients, twins and tiny versions of who they imagine themselves to be.
And then cancer changes what a little girl sees in the mirror. Her hair may be gone. A port may sit beneath her skin. Her appointments look different. Her clothes have to work differently. And suddenly, the dolls she has always loved don’t quite look like her anymore.
That is why we made this dress. So she can put a Uni-Port dress on her bald, beautiful doll and see the same zipper, the same access and the same kind of dress she wears. She looks down at the doll in her arms and sees something she may not find on a store shelf. Herself.
She’s not dressing up like her doll… her doll is dressing up like her.
Rare. Magical. Beautifully Different.
We chose the unicorn because it reminds children that being different can still be beautiful. Cancer can make a little girl feel set apart from the world around her: her days, her hair, and her clothes suddenly look different from everyone else’s. The unicorn tells her the truth: rare is not less. Rare is extraordinary.
Rare
There is only one girl like her in the whole world. Her Uni-Port dress, and now her doll’s, celebrates exactly that.
Magical
A little sparkle can make the hardest days feel lighter. Magic matters, especially on treatment days.
“Uni” Means One
One gentle zipper. One access point for her port. One mighty girl and her one-of-a-kind doll.
Different does not mean less, broken, or alone…
Medical Play
In the hospital, dolls can become so much more than toys. Through medical play, children can use dolls to understand the things happening around them.
Her doll can get her port accessed first. She can wear the Band-Aid, have her vitals checked, lie still for the pretend scan, and wear the tubing. The child gets to watch. Ask questions. Practice. And, for a moment, be the one in control. Instead of being the patient, she becomes the caregiver. She gets to hold her doll close and say: You’re okay. I’ve got you.
When her doll wears the same Uni-Port dress she does, it creates another little piece of familiarity in a world that can feel anything but familiar. They can get ready together. They can go through the scary things together. They can be brave together.
Nobody fights alone. Not even dolls.
Our Girls Love Their Uni-Port Dress. Now Her Doll Can Have One Too.
The original Uni-Port Dress was created for girls in cancer treatment so they never have to choose between feeling beautiful and giving their medical team access to their port. A zipper runs down the front, allowing easy access while letting her stay in the dress she loves.
The Uni-Port Doll Dress is a miniature version of the dresses our girls wear, created with the same purpose and the same heart behind every stitch. Each one is handmade with the same love, just doll-sized.

We Make It
Her doll dress will be sewn and finished by hand by Britt, our Zipper Fairy, the same person who brought the Uni-Port dresses to life, then packed with a special note just for her.

The Doll Is Not Included
This project includes the Uni-Port Doll Dress only. If your daughter doesn’t already have an 18-inch doll, there are two bald dolls we especially love. Each one is beautiful, brave, and ready for her new dress.
American Girl Truly Me™ #105
A beautiful bald doll standing proudly alongside every other American Girl doll. For a little girl who has lost her hair during treatment, simply seeing a doll like her represented on that shelf can mean so much. Because bald belongs there too.
The Desi Strong Doll
The Desi Strong Doll was created in honor of Desi, who loves her American Girl dolls, Kelly and Ava. We were so lucky to know and love Desi. During treatment, Desi cared for her dolls the way her medical team cared for her, giving them pretend IVs, checking their vitals and helping them through their own “treatment.” Her family turned that love into something extraordinary: a bald 18-inch doll with a removable port, provided free to children going through cancer treatment.
