Jazzy’s Journey to Disney
When we received the heartbreaking news that Jazzy’s cancer had spread and that time was no longer on our side, our hearts shattered.
But in that same breath, we made a promise. If there was still magic to be made, we would make it happen. And we would make it happen fast.
Jazzy’s greatest dream was simple and beautiful. She wanted to go to Disney with her family. To feel the joy. To meet the princesses. To laugh until her cheeks hurt. To be a little girl, not a patient.
So we stepped up in the biggest way possible.
And we did not do it alone.
In an extraordinary show of love and unity, nonprofits, businesses, and generous hearts came together almost overnight to turn this urgent dream into a breathtaking reality. Together, we sent Jazzy and her family to the happiest place on earth, where even if just for a few days, cancer did not get to write the story.
It was magic in motion.
AJ, Pawphoria’s owner, shared why the cause matters to her:
Because of this incredible community, every detail was wrapped in care:
- Strong Little Souls covered first class round trip flights for Jazzy and her family, making sure she traveled in comfort like the princess she is.
- The Spencer Reid Foundation provided 4 day Park Hopper passes and Memory Maker, capturing every smile, every hug, every sparkling moment.
- Dr. Jess Black Puzzuoli (MSKCC) sponsored five nights in a beautiful condo near the park and booked Jazzy a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique princess experience, where she was transformed into royalty.
- Dream Chaser Events filled the condo with Minnie Mouse themed pink décor so Jazzy walked into pure magic from the moment she arrived.
- Love, Team Tessa covered a five day car rental so the family could explore freely and comfortably.
- Rosie’s Adventures donated $1,000 in spending money because every princess deserves souvenirs and sweet treats.
- Whip Pediatric Cancer added $2,112 to Jazzy’s Disney fund, ensuring nothing stood in the way of joy.
- Spoon & Batter designed a custom Minnie Mouse cake made especially for Jazzy, because every celebration needs cake.
- Miss Adventures created a magical princess video to surprise Jazzy with the news that she was going to Disney.
- Pursuit of Peace added another touching princess themed video to send her off on her adventure with love.
A Few Days Without Cancer
For a little while, hospital rooms were replaced with castle views.
Medical appointments were replaced with character meet and greets. Fear was replaced with fireworks.
Jazzy laughed. She smiled. She wore her princess dress with pride. She made memories with her family that will live on forever in photos, in stories, in hearts.
That is the power of a wish fulfilled.
When time is uncertain, moments become everything.
Because of You, Magic Happens
To every donor, every partner, every person who shared, gave, and believed, thank you. You gave Jazzy more than a trip. You gave her joy. You gave her magic. You gave her memories untouched by illness.
This is why we do what we do.
When families face the unimaginable, we step in with hope. When dreams feel impossible, we build them together. And when a little girl wants to see Disney, we move mountains to get her there.
