Rivals on the Field. Teammates Against Pediatric Cancer.
Michigan State.
University of Michigan.
On any given Saturday, it is green versus blue. Spartans versus Wolverines. A rivalry that runs deep, loud, and proud.
But when it comes to pediatric cancer, the rivalry disappears.
Because no matter what side of the stadium you sit on, we are all on the same team when it comes to protecting our kids. Recently, supporters from both schools came together with one shared mission: to tackle pediatric cancer.
- Different colors.
- Different chants.
- Same heart.
It was powerful to witness. Fans who would normally argue stats and game plays standing shoulder to shoulder. Rival gear worn proudly, but united for something far bigger than football. Because this fight is:
- Bigger than any trophy.
- Bigger than any scoreboard.
Pediatric cancer does not care what team you root for. And neither does hope.
When communities unite like this, it sends a clear message to every child in the fight: you are backed by an entire state. By rival schools. By fierce competitors who know that some battles matter more than football.
On the field, they may clash. But off the field, we lock arms:
- Spartans and Wolverines alike.
- Stepping up together.
- Making sure every child has a fighting chance.
