From 7 years old to life mission
Some paths in life aren’t planned—they find you.
For me, this journey started when I was just 7 years old. At that age, most kids are thinking about school, sports, or what they want to be when they grow up. But something happened that would shape the rest of my life. I was introduced to children battling pediatric cancer, and from that moment on, something in my heart changed.
I met kids who were facing things no child should ever have to face. Hospital rooms became their classrooms. Treatments replaced playgrounds. Yet despite everything they were going through, they still had the most incredible smiles, strength, and courage.
I quickly fell in love with these kids.
There was something about their resilience, their laughter in the face of pain, and their ability to find joy in the smallest moments that stayed with me. Even as a child myself, I knew these kids deserved more. They deserved moments of happiness, memories outside hospital walls, and people who would stand beside them and fight for them.
As the years went on, that feeling never left me.
What started as something that touched my heart at 7 years old slowly grew into something much bigger. By the time I turned 16, I knew this wasn’t just something I cared about—it was my life’s purpose.
At 16 years old, I made a decision that would define the path ahead of me. I committed my life to supporting children battling pediatric cancer, creating moments of joy for them and their families, and doing everything I could to make their journeys a little bit lighter.
Since then, every child I’ve met has left a mark on my heart. Every smile, every hug, every moment shared has reminded me why this mission matters so much.
These kids have taught me more about strength, courage, and love than I could ever put into words. They are the reason this mission continues to grow, and they are the reason I will never stop fighting for them.
What began as a moment that changed a 7-year-old’s heart became a purpose that shaped an entire life.
And it’s only the beginning. 💛
