Jazzy’s Journey to Disney

Sweet Charlee is the kind of girl who lights up every room she enters.

When she was diagnosed with AML leukemia, her world suddenly became filled with long hospital stays, endless treatments, and days that felt heavier than any child should have to carry. But if you know Charlee, you know one thing for sure, she carries everything with strength… and a little sparkle.

Between treatments, IV poles, and long nights in the hospital, Charlee found joy in something unexpected: the Savannah Bananas.

  • Their wild dance moves.
  • Their gymnastics tricks.
  • Their over-the-top baseball combos.

It had her laughing. Smiling. Forgetting, even for a moment, that she was fighting something so big.

This brave girl, who tackles life with the same energy she brings to gymnastics, would watch in awe as the Bananas flipped, danced, and turned baseball into pure entertainment. During some of her hardest days, they were her escape.

And that’s why when Charlee reached the incredible milestone of finishing treatment, we knew we had to celebrate in a way that felt just as joyful as she is.

So we planned a surprise.

To honor the end of her treatment journey, we surprised Miss Charlee, her sister, and her parents with tickets to see the Savannah Bananas live in New York City. And this was not just any surprise, it was made possible by a very generous follower and donor, Katie, who stepped up to turn this dream into a reality.

Because of Katie’s kindness, Charlee didn’t just watch her favorite team from a hospital bed anymore.

  • She watched them from the stands.
  • She laughed in person.
  • She cheered at the top of her lungs.
  • She soaked in every flip, every dance, every pitch.

And the magic did not stop there.

Charlee even got to meet the players. The very athletes who helped her smile through chemo and long hospital days were suddenly standing right in front of her.

It was a full-circle moment.

  • From hospital screens to center stage.
  • From fighting leukemia to celebrating victory.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Celebrating the end of treatment is not just about ringing a bell. It is about restoring joy. It is about honoring resilience. It is about giving families memories that mark the beginning of a new chapter.
To Katie, thank you for making this unforgettable celebration possible.

And to Charlee keep flipping, keep shining, and keep smiling that unstoppable smile. You are a true home run.
