Claws N Paws Shop: Why We Teamed Up with Whip Pediatric Cancer

This September, Claws N Paws Shop was proud to join forces with Whip Pediatric Cancer in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. For owner Carolyn Vencill, the mission is personal.

Carolyn shared:

“I feel especially connected to their mission because of my own experience with cancer. Knowing how hard that battle is, I can only imagine the strength it takes for families when it’s their child facing the diagnosis. Pediatric cancer research is severely underfunded, leaving many families without adequate support or answers. That’s why I feel so strongly about supporting Whip Pediatric Cancer and the incredible work they do to bring hope and help to children in need.”

Throughout September, Claws N Paws made it easy for their community to give back:

-$1 from every bandana sold was donated to Whip Pediatric Cancer.
-Every order included a limited-edition Whip Pediatric Cancer bandana as a thank-you for standing with kids and families in the fight.

We are so grateful to Carolyn and the entire Claws N Paws community for showing that even small, everyday purchases can make a big impact.

Together, we are spreading awareness, raising critical funds, and delivering hope to children who need it most.

AJ, Pawphoria’s owner, shared why the cause matters to her:

“As a dog lover and the owner of a pet grooming and market, I love being part of a community where people and pets mean so much. When I learned that one of my clients, Jordan, was involved with this amazing charity, I knew I wanted to support her and the cause. Her sweet pup Piper is part of our Pawphoria family, so teaming up for the fundraiser felt especially meaningful. Childhood cancer is something no family should ever face alone, and I’m grateful we could do our part to help raise awareness and support research.”

We’re so thankful to AJ and the entire Pawphoria community for showing that together, even small acts can make a big difference. Every snip, trim, and wagging tail in September helped bring hope to families fighting childhood cancer.
