Mackenzie

Every week when Kenzie was in the hospital right over the bridge from my apartment I would go sit with her and her mom. We made slime, colored pictures and on our first visit she made a keychain for me with beads that says BFF. She was the smartest and sweetest girl there ever was. when she left the hospital she stayed in a hotel near by and we were able to surprise her and decorate it so she felt comfortable being away from home. Her community threw an early Christmas caroling initiative for her because she loved Christmas and we were able to attend and show some love and support during the unimaginable time. Through Facebook and tshirt fundraising, we were able to raise money for Mackenzie and her mom and help her mom pay for her funeral. I was not able to attend but sent a recorded eulogy that was played.
