Sarina’s story is one that hits very close to home for me. She lives in the town over, and she is 21 years old, just like me. We met during her first fight with Acute Myeloid Leukemia when we were seniors in High School. Now, as seniors in college, we talked about breakups and new clothes until she received the dreaded news that she relapsed and has to fight this beast once again. I wanted her to be able to do something that fueled her soul.
